This summer, I had the opportunity to visit Colorado for 10 days! There were so many gorgeous views and natural landmarks! PIKES PEAK COG RAILWAY - Manitou Springs, Colorado If you're afraid of heights, this might not be the attraction for you. You ride a train on a cog railway to an elevation of over 14, 000 feet. Along the way there are gorgeous views that leave you breathless, literally. The air is thin and it is hard to breathe as you near the top of the mountain. It is so worth the journey, though! There is a gift shop and restrooms waiting at the top, where you must try the fresh homemade donuts! 2.
