Sseko Designs

I am beyond excited to share with ya'll an amazing company that I truly believe you're going to love! Their name is Sseko Designs, founded by a girl who fell in love with the culture and ladies of Uganda. She started a business that would not only empower women, but give them jobs, and send them to college. Each product is handmade, and when you receive your products, the ladies who made the piece signed a card attached. You can learn about her ambitions and where she comes from on their website!

If you follow this link http://www.ssekodesigns.com/amelia_wright  you can shop their entire site, to support young women who with to pursue college! This company is all about women empowering others and I truly fell in love with their products. The fact that each piece was handmade by someone almost makes my cry.

I got the crossover slide sandals in white gold. They are made of such a soft, genuine natural leather. I wore them an entire day and they didn't rub in any spots and my feet never hurt! I normally wear a 9.5 or 10, and sized down to a 9 and they fit perfect! They didn't seem that tight, but I know they're also supposed to stretch over time and become even more comfortable! They are very well made and will become your new favorites!

This kimono is just AH-MAZING!  It is the short duster in tropical palm. When I first saw the print I was obsessed! It's a gorgeous palm print with accents of gray, pink and yellow for a fun twist. It is a one size fits most, and it is really roomy. You can wear it with basically anything: as a robe, swimsuit coverup, with shorts, jeans, etc. It has a removable belt so you can tie it up if that's what you prefer. I highly recommend this piece, it is just perfect for summer!

I hope that ya'll will check out this amazing company and find something for yourself, to help send a lady to college! They are so kind and are going to do a GIVEAWAY! Anyone who purchases a piece through my link ( SHOP HERE ) will be entered to win a free pair of crossover sandals! Please take advantage of this amazing opportunity and happy shopping! :)

The perfect spring dresses with Vera Fishbaugh

Spring is here, and that means cheerful clothes are in!! I have been obsessed with this new brand called Vera Fishbaugh since I found them! If you like Lilly Pulitzer, then you will love them! Their trademark is fun prints and great quality! I chose three dresses to feature for y'all, they are each a different silhouette and print! The first dress is Solstice in the print Cabana Party. It is perfect for a backyard party, or a trip to the beach! It has 3/4 length sleeves, button up collar, and a thick tie belt. It's a lightweight jersey & polyester blend, so you can definitely wear it in the summer heat too! SHOP HERE! The next dress is Citron in Navy. It created the perfect hourglass shape for a slimming effect. It has 3/4 sleeves and is a more fitted dress. Although, it is a really stretchy material of cotton & spandex. It has an A line silhouette for a chic look.  SHOP HERE! The last dress I tried was Granite in Georgia

A trip to the Pioneer Woman's lodge & mercantile

To start off my Spring Break, my family went to Pawhuska, Oklahoma to visit the Pioneer Woman's lodge & mercantile. My Mom especially has watched her shows for a couple years and she has tried some of her recipes. We decided it would be fun to go tour where she films her cooking shows and stop at her mercantile for a little shopping and delicious food! When we first arrived to Pawhuska, we went to the mercantile. The line to eat was really long so we went upstairs to the bakery and grabbed some treats for a snack. They also have coffee and a candy bar! We each tried a different cupcake, and shared some knock you naked brownies. We also got some sticky buns to try for later. Then we went to the lodge. The lodge was located, basically in the middle of nowhere. You get your directions & free ticket at the mercantile, then drive out of the downtown area to their ranch. Fun fact: According to google, the Drummonds own over 400k acres and are the 23rd largest landowners in
