Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies

One of my favorite things to do is bake sweets! This chocolate chip cookie recipe is one of my most liked foods that I make! It is an altered version of an old recipe I found, and I made it my own! These cookies are so gooey and soft! Today I am going to share this recipe with you and step-by-step instructions on how to make them! I hope you enjoy!

Ingredients

1 cup shortening
1/3 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups self-rising flour
1 (12-ounce_ package of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Cream shortening, margarine, and sugars until creamy.

Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.

Add flour one cup at a time.

Don't over mix the flour into the mixture.

Finish mixing in the flour with a spoon until creamy.

Add chocolate chips and mix.

Drop dough by spoonfuls onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.

Bake in a preheated 375° oven for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly brown.

Pull them out of the oven for a delicious treat!

I hope you all enjoy and love this recipe as much as I do!
